Things I Bought... Pin Twirls
The weather is getting warmer and all of this long hair is getting to me. I decided to take a trip to the drugstore and check out some of products for putting your hair up.
I found a display with ConAir boxed products including the Topsy Tail (remember that infomercial? No? I am old). I got two products: Bun Maker and Pin Twirls, both of which promise to make and easy bun (the link sends you to Amazon).
I can't figure out how to use the Bun Maker. The instructions look easy enough (there are only three steps!) but I get stuck between "pull hair through" and "you're done."
The Pin Twirls, however, are awesome! You can see them in the picture above - they are like twisted bobby pins. At first I thought they would get tangled in my hair, but they are way easier to use, more secure, and less painful than bobby pins. Three pins come in the box but you only need one or two to keep your hair up. I love them!
As for the Topsy Tail - you don't need one. You can just poke a hole in the space above your pony tail with your finger and then pull the ponytail through it. Actually, that was kind of hard to explain, you might want to get the Topsy Tail after all.
